Celebrate Virginia® is a tourist destination conveniently located along I-95, between Washington D.C. and Richmond, in the heart of Fredericksburg, Virginia. As a mixed use space, Celebrate Virginia spans 2,700 acres across the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County, featuring premier shopping and dining, entertainment, hospitality accommodations, residential communities, and conference facilities, and serves as the starting point for the Marine Corps Historic Half Marathon each year.
Celebrate Virginia South hosts the majority of attractions within the development, including the new Fredericksburg Nationals ballpark stadium, home of the Washington Nationals minor league affiliate team. This location also provides visitors, tourists, and business travelers with convenient accommodations for overnight, weekend, and extended stays at several global hotel brands, as well as our own fully automated boutique hotel.
Anchoring the property is Central Park, the largest retail power center on the east coast, totaling more than 2 million square feet of space with 90 retail and entertainment destinations and 50 restaurants. University of Mary Washington, located just 2 miles from Celebrate Virginia South, offers acclaimed performing arts and culture programs to local residents, including music, theatre, museums, fine arts, and a variety of lecture series. Arts and culture are an integral part of life in Fredericksburg with a diverse collection of art on exhibit at local galleries and studios, including Kenmore, built in the 1770s, it was the historic home of George Washington’s sister.
